IME Aachen GmbH
IME Aachen GmbH was founded at the end of 2010 as a spin-off of the Institute for Machine Elements and Machine Design (IME) at RWTH Aachen University. The IME has been active in a broad field of research since its foundation in 1950. The main focus is on machine elements, drive technology, tribology, structural analysis as well as machine dynamics and acoustics.
With a management and expert team consisting of former and current employees of the institute, IME Aachen GmbH has an excellent network in the Aachen research landscape. This enables the company to bundle its own competencies with the latest research results in the field of drive technology and to transfer them into industrial practice in the form of unique products.
